KOSA Acupuncture’s understanding scoliosis and its treatment
NIH’s Perspective on scoliosis
Scoliosis causes a sideways curve of your backbone, or spine. These curves are often S- or C-shaped.
Scoliosis is most common in late childhood and the early teens, when children grow fast. Girls are more likely to have it than boys.
Symptoms include leaning to one side and having uneven shoulders and hips. Sometimes it is easy to notice, but not always.

KOSA Acupuncture’s understanding scoliosis and how to treat
The skeletal system cannot stand alone.
It has to be supported by muscular system.
Therefore, when the muscular system has a problem it has to result in a sideways curve of backbone or spine.
Thus, trying to fix the skeletal system may not be an adequate approach.
According to KOSA Acupuncture’s theory, the liver has additional functions of muscle, sinews, vision, eyeballs, anger and reproductive organs to those the conventional medicine thinks.
In conclusion, scoliosis is a simple indication that the liver is not healthy enough to support the skeletal system properly.
With that being said, people with scoliosis have one or more conditions as followings.
Acid reflux, acne, arthritis, asthma, autoimmune diseases, back pain, constipation, eczema, eye related conditions, food allergy, gluten allergy, infertility, irregular menstruation, leaky gut, leg pain, low back pain, menstrual cramps, muscle cramps, neck pain, PMS, skin troubles, thoracic pain, urinary incontinence, and so on.
The 2nd testimonial video in the above shows her spine keeps changing its shape because her liver’s conditions keep changing 24×7 depending on her eating, drinking, sleeping, exercise, stress, and etc.
This proves that scoliosis is not a skeletal problem but a muscular problem.
KOSA Acupuncture treats unhealthy liver so that healthier liver can straighten the backbone or spine.
Of course, the other responsible organs need to be treated at once.
Also, the patient’s overlapping conditions are to be treated at once as well.
Another Successful Scoliosis Treatment by KOSA Acupuncture
On Sun. Apr 2, 2023, I had a mid-20s female patient with scoliosis and severe neck, upper back, and hip pain.
Her scoliosis started when she was a baby. She had been seeing chiropractors, physical therapists, and doctors and nothing worked for pains and scoliosis. She was recommended surgery, which she wanted to avoid.
After my first treatment, all her pains disappeared to zero, and her back was straightened.
I am happy that I showed her the light at the end of the tunnel, which she just has to walk towards to it.
