It is common and usual that ordinary acupuncturists and conventional medicine don’t treat disorders, which they have not been trained for or they don’t have previous experience. In addition to that, their focus is on dealing with symptoms, which is the tip of the iceberg.

On the contrary, KOSA Acupuncture understands that disorders are just simply different reflections of the unhealthy organ(s) and treat root problems (unhealthy organs) so that healthier organs treat disorders.
Therefore, KOSA Acupuncture can treat most disorders even including those with no names on them and we have achieved a very high success rate, almost 100% on any conditions, even including overlapping conditions at once.

KOSA Acupuncture’s Understanding Achalasia

Important Notes

On the evening of July 19, 2013, an acquaintance called me to ask me to visit his home to treat his mother in law who is 105 years old.

He told me that she has not been able to swallow anything for 24 hours.
He used the word ‘choke’ to explain her symptom, which was that water and any form of food get stuck in her esophagus and she ended up throwing up.

While I was stepping into his house, he was talking with a physician over the phone.
He told me that the physician told him that conventional medicine has no remedy for that kind of disorder.
She was not able to swallow anything even including water for the past 24 hours.

10 minutes after all the necessary needles have been inserted and some needles were manipulated, I asked her to try to drink water and she did not have any problem with swallowing.
After removing all needles I asked her to eat dinner and she did not have any problem at all either.

The next day, I asked her son-in-law about her and he told me that she was still doing just fine with eating and drinking.

She had not had achalasia symptoms ever again.

What Is Achalasia?

Achalasia is a rare disorder in which your esophagus is unable to move food and liquids down into your stomach. Your esophagus is the muscular tube that transports food from your mouth to your stomach. At the area where your esophagus meets your stomach is a ring of muscle called the lower esophageal sphincter (LES). This muscle relaxes (opens) to allow food to enter your stomach and contracts (tightens to close) to prevent stomach content from backing up into your esophagus. If you have achalasia, the LES doesn’t relax, which prevents food from moving into your stomach.
Achalasia develops in about 1 in every 100,000 people in the U.S. each year.

Why your esophageal muscles fail to contract and relax normally is unknown.
One theory is that achalasia is an autoimmune disease (your body attacks itself) that is triggered by a virus. Your immune system attacks the nerve cells in the muscle layers of the walls of your esophagus and at the LES. Your nerve cells, which control muscle function, slowly degenerate for reasons that are not currently understood. This results in excessive contractions in the LES. If you have achalasia, the LES fails to relax and food and liquids can’t pass through your esophagus into your stomach.

A rare form of achalasia may be inherited. More research is needed.
