I am treating a patient with swollen ankle and pain in her hip (same side).
During the first treatment after reading your book, I treated the kidney as this more swollen side and swelling went down on the inside.
The next treatment was to sedate and cool the gallbladder and swelling went down on the outside ankle and reduced pain in the hip.KOSA Acupuncture is amazing.
I was taught this exact KOSA sedating and tonifying method at College, but quenching and cooling were not emphasized.
Stopped using it altogether when I started working alongside a more experienced acupuncturist who used to berate me for using ‘weird’ acupuncture theories.Going back to KOSA despite what he thinks as it is more effective than ‘modern’ acupuncture.
