Alpha-Gal Syndrome, Allergies, and SAAT: The Limits of SAAT

What is SAAT?

SAAT (Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment) is a specialized acupuncture technique claimed to help with allergies, including Alpha-Gal Syndrome. It involves inserting the semi-permanent needles into specific points in the ear, where they remain for several weeks. Proponents believe it helps desensitize allergic responses, but its effectiveness is debated. While some patients report relief, scientific evidence supporting SAAT as a reliable, long-term solution is limited. Compared to comprehensive treatments that address underlying problems like KOSA Acupuncture, SAAT may offer only partial or temporary benefits but is not a proven long-term solution compared to treatments addressing root problems.

Why SAAT May Not Be As Effective As You Think

Alpha-Gal Syndrome is considered one of the most challenging allergies and will be used as a primary example.

Alpha-Gal Syndrome is a type of food allergy that causes an allergic reaction to red meat and other mammalian-derived products, typically triggered by the bite of a Lone Star tick. However, this condition is not as severe as snake venom, meaning that the body’s organs must continuously fight to heal themselves. Therefore, strengthening the responsible organs – particularly the liver, which plays a crucial role in overall health – is essential for effective treatment.

SAAT was developed primarily to manage symptoms, aiming to reduce the burden on affected organs. However, it has several limitations:

  1. The success rate is not 100%.
  2. Even when considered successful, results remain subjective.
  3. It takes time for patients to perceive its effects.
  4. It is not powerful enough to restore affected organs to a fully healthy state.

The number of needles used in SAAT varies depending on the type and severity of the allergies being treated, which highlights that SAAT is primarily intended to manage symptoms rather than address the root problems of the condition.

Ultimately, while SAAT may help alleviate symptoms, it does not address the underlying health of the organs, which is key to long-term healing.

Additional Information About SAAT

Our DNA mirrors the structure of the entire body, which functions as an intricate electrical system. Acupuncture operates through acupuncture points and meridians, which are fundamental components of this system. This interconnectedness means that various parts of the body—such as the hands, feet, face, and head—can reflect the whole body, allowing any area of the skin to serve as a potential acupuncture point or meridian.

Due to this concept, some practitioners in conventional medicine underestimate acupuncture, dismissing it with statements like, “Inserting a needle anywhere on the body will somehow work.” However, the discovery of alternative acupuncture points outside the traditional system relies solely on trial and error, making them inherently less precise and more limited in their effectiveness. As a result, acupuncture methods that do not utilize conventional acupuncture points can only serve as symptomatic therapy or palliative treatment rather than addressing the root problems of health conditions.

Why KOSA Acupuncture Surpasses SAAT

While SAAT focuses solely on managing allergy symptoms, KOSA Acupuncture is the only acupuncture that treats the root problems – our organs. By restoring organ health, KOSA Acupuncture enables the body to naturally heal not only allergies but also a wide range of pains and disorders simultaneously, rather than addressing allergies in isolation.

Our approach has consistently achieved a near 100% success rate in treating various conditions, including rare and unnamed diseases, demonstrating its effectiveness in promoting true healing beyond symptom management.
