Total of 4 KOSA Acupuncture treatments from Fri, Feb 17, 2023, to Mon, Feb 20, 2023
- After the 1st treatment, she left all her pains behind.
- On the 2nd day, the patient walked in with minimum pain in the heel. Once again, she left all the pain behind.
- On the 3rd day, the patient came back with no pain at all. She cut down the medicines of Gabapentin and Tramadol to half after the 2nd treatment.
- On the 4th day (last visit), the patient walked in with manageable pain in the heel due to eating pork chop last night but she had quality sleep for 9 hours. Her bladder used to wake her up but not anymore.

The reasons why the patient decided to quit treatment and was able to taper down the medicines (she quit some of them cold turkey, right after the 1st session) are as followings.
- She has learned the following.
- Just because the doctor prescribed a certain medicine doesn’t necessarily mean that the patient has to take that medicine.
- All medicines come with side effects.
- When a side effect is noticed it is usually long after taking the medicine that the side effect is considered a new symptom, rather than a side effect. The bigger consequent problem is that because the side effect is regarded as a new symptom, the doctor must prescribe new medicine to manage the new symptom, which comes with side effects. When new side effects are noticed it is usually long after taking the 2nd medicine, they have to be regarded as new symptoms, out of blue. It is simply a vicious cycle.
- A healthy diet is very important to recover and stay healthy.
- Because she is confident that KOSA Acupuncture has helped her organs get healthy quickly, and the right diet and lifestyle alone would be good enough for self-healing.
KOSA Acupuncture understands that all of the patient’s conditions were simply different reflections or indications of an unhealthy liver due to an unhealthy diet and lifestyle.
Keep in mind that conventional medicine’s diagnosis is imperfect and there is always a chance of misdiagnosis. Some readers may not agree with this but conventional medicine doesn’t even have the proper diagnosis of a simple disorder of headache.
The detoxification of the liver is not an appropriate approach to resolving liver-related disorders because detoxification is one of the liver’s functions and it has already been compromised. In order to treat liver-related disorders, the liver needs to be treated, and a healthy liver will be able to detoxify itself and the body and treat the disorders, no matter how many of them they are.
There are lots of different understandings of the symptoms, causes, and treatments but due to the following problems, their treatment is just trying to scratch the tip of the iceberg;
- They are not interested in knowing or identifying the root cause.
- They ignore or neglect or don’t even want to know that meridians and acupuncture points exist.
- They ignore or neglect or don’t even want to know that our body has a powerful self-healing system.
- Their understanding functions of organs are imperfect.

Even though acupuncture has thousands of years of history, nobody knew how to utilize the theory (Yin, Yang, and Five Elements).
Saahm (A Korean Ascetic’s pen name) invented formulas approx. 400 years ago and he completed the theory.
Unfortunately, it was lost until the Great Great Master Rhee discovered Saahm’s book in early 1950s and he studied, treat patients, and taught apprentices.
The Great Great Master Rhee taught The Great Master Kim (my father) who completed the predecessors’ great work and proved that the thesis is not just a thesis but a great unrivaled healing system.
